Below is a link to a video email my business associate, James Metcalf, put together for a band. The band members wanted to send out an email to their subscribers on a certain date to get people buy the track in order to try and chart. James offered to put the video into a vmail that they could send out and the result is the below.
Click on the film strip and let me know what you think of it in the comments section in this blog.
In my humble opinion, this is something independent artists in Singapore and Malaysia should do (use video email/ vmail to promote their music). Saves time, money and reaches out to the masses - bec people tend to forward videos like this everywhere on the internet and via email without even being told to do so. This is what we call viral marketing. And that's how YouTube makes its name!
I’m about to turn 33 and have been with my boyfriend for four years. He has been promising to get engaged for two years now and nothing. I have one final deadline coming up in a month for him to follow through. He is now starting to drop hints that his business is bad and there is too much debt. PLEASE HELP -need advice!!!
He refuses to move in with me and I feel like a fool - everyone is telling me I deserve better and nobody thinks he will keep his promise. I am heartbroken and love him deeply. We have known each other for 12 yrs and he pursued me - to think of all the great guys I passed up to be with him and now I am sinking!
Jenna
Okay Jenna, I want to give you some reality-checks. First, it is a terrible idea to ask a guy to move in with you who is not ready to propose and set a wedding date. I’m glad he refused because he spared you the further agony of meshing your lives together when he’s not committed to you.
Secondly, your relationship sounds way out of balance - you loving him so deeply while he is backing away and making excuses. Maybe there is a good reason your friends don’t have faith in him. There may be character issues with him that you need to take a close look at before you put on the pressure for him to propose. Commitment is the symptom, sometimes, of other, deeper issues. So setting a deadline for him to propose, while it may get you a ring and a wedding, may not get you the wonderful, loving relationship you crave.
My suggestion is that you step back, remove the deadline, and re-assess. Ask your friends what they see in him - ask for their honesty, even though it may hurt. Carve out some time for yourself to be still and quiet and listen from the most inner-knowing part of you for the answer to this question: Is this guy a man of good character who truly adores you and will uplift you as a woman? The answer to this question will guide you far better than the attachment that you feel. I promise, if he’s not really the best guy for you, you will be able to release the attachment and move on to something far richer and more rewarding.
Do you trust your friends to tell you whether he is right or not right for you? And what if you leave him and yet you are still "attached" to him? Do you go back to him or settle with the man who loves you more than anyone could in the world? How do you detached yourself from "him" then?
I'm giving away a book titled, Temptation of the Single Girl written by Nina Atwood, The Singlescoach®, to the person who gives the best of the best answers to all of the above questions.
Reply with your answers here before 1st June 2008 and we will decide the winner on 1st June 2008.

Aries: Looking to the past for the answers thwarts your inner desires for the future. It's best to say in the present moment when it comes to decisions of the heart.
Taurus: Listen to your dreams when you want an answer. What appears to be hidden proves to be the best choice.
Gemini: Risky actions are not wise for the headstrong Gemini. Pace yourself this month with matters of both the heart and head.
Cancer: Family communications improve this month, especially when it comes to children. On a side note make sure you know where your keys are this month.
Dear Singlescoach, I just started dating a man and he told me that my being too nice puts pressure on him and makes him act distant toward me. I don’t understand. Does he think I’m putting on an act? - Teri
Notes: History with the new guy: Sex within the first few dates; a few days later, he brings up commitment and says it was a big step. Teri, surprised, agrees and tells him they should “go slow.” He disappears and she is left baffled. She wonders if he felt obligated after having sex. She says she never got the chance to tell him that was not her expectation. One of his parting shots was that her being nice to him made him feel pressured and want to distance himself.
Dear Teri,
You definitely fell right into the temptation of getting sexual too soon. I also hear denial of your true desires - that’s it’s okay for him to not feel obligated after having sex with you.
Why wouldn’t you want him to feel obligated (committed) after having sex? Self-respect as a woman demands it. If you didn’t want it, then his little disappearing act would mean nothing to you. The first thing you must do, therefore, is get it straight that you do want a committed relationship, especially from a man you are sleeping with.
This leads us to the next step - putting off sex until you have a real relationship with a commitment. Here’s what happens to most guys when they have sex too soon - he wakes up the next day with a real problem. How is he supposed to feel about you and treat you? He barely knows you, is not in love, and doesn’t think of you as his girlfriend.
